Okay Today Medication Reminder CallsOkay Today Calls Inc. offers up to three medication reminder calls per day. Customers conveniently set and manage call times and days  through our easy online customer account management page.

Medication reminder calls do not require a response. If the person being reminded does not answer their telephone, Okay Today will attempt to call back up to 2 more times at 30 minute intervals. If there is still no answer, calls cease.  If a voicemail/answering machine answers, a reminder message is left and no further calls will be made.

When scheduling medication reminder calls, please be aware that all call attempts cease at midnight.

NOTE: Persons receiving medication reminder calls must be able to generally self-govern and regulate dosage. Medication reminder calls are not recommended for persons at risk of mistakenly re-taking medication that they may have taken before the call. Blister packs and daily pill containers can be great safeguards against these types of accidental overdose.

While we make every attempt to call at the scheduled time, call volumes can effect the time that calls are placed, so where possible choose times that include minutes. For example, instead of 9:00 am, choose 9:15 am.

Calls may temporarily be disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, etc..

What Happens When I Receive Medication Reminder Calls From Okay Today?

MEDICATION REMINDER CALL SCENARIO 1

When The Okay Today Call Is Answered:

  1. We place a medication reminder call.
  2. You answer the phone.
  3. Our medication reminder call message plays, reminding you to take your medication if you have not already done so. (the message will repeat)
  4. You can hang up any time after the message begins to play.
  5. No further action is required.

MEDICATION REMINDER CALL SCENARIO 2

When There Is A Voicemail/Answering Machine Response:

  1. We place a medication reminder call.
  2. Your voicemail/answering machine answers the call.
  3. Our medication reminder call message plays 3 times (to compensate for the time it takes for a voicemail/answering machine’s message to play, which may cut off part of our message).
  4. The call is disconnected, and no further calls are made.

MEDICATION REMINDER CALL SCENARIO 3

When There Is No Answer Or Voicemail/Answering Machine:

  1. Okay Today places a medication reminder call.
  2. You do not answer, and your voicemail/answering machine does not pick up.
  3. Okay Today attempts to call you again, up to 2 more times 30 minutes apart.
  4. If you still do not answer, there will be no more reminder call attempts (medication reminder calls will resume the next scheduled time).

Important: It’s critically important that if the person’s already taken the medication for that time period for them to disregard the reminder message. If the person is not home when our calls come, and have voicemail or answering machine, they need to be instructed to listen to their messages upon return, and disregard the reminder if they’ve already taken the medication for that time period.
